THERE ARE PROCESSES IN THIS EMAIL THAT MUST BE COMPLETED BY YOU PRIOR TO YOUR FIRST VISIT

In order to OPEN and STAY OPEN  Berry Fitness 24|7 will operate under the strict guidelines set out byDHHS. Among other things, we will be following:

  • A COVID Safe plan
  • Strict cleaning and contact tracing procedures via Access Passes & QR codes
  • Masks are to be on your person at all times and to be worn if you cannot keep a safe social distance
  • Staffed hours by appointment only
  • Entry allowed to double vaccinated or DHHS medically exempt members/visitors and staff only

We will continue to ease our policies and restrictions when advised safe to do so by DHHS. In the mean time we ask all our members to take note of ALL signage you may see around the gym and keep an eye on your emails and our social media pages for any changes.

BERRY FITNESS 24|7 COVID SAFE POLICIES & PROCEDURES 

As always, Berry Fitness 24|7 can’t wait to open our doors to our local community once again and continue with our goal of helping your Feel Better Every Day.

Berry Fitness 24|7 will follow all policies, restrictions & guidelines set out by the Victorian Government and DHHS, including the vaccination mandate. We have continued to follow the DHHS instructions over the past 18 months to ensure when we open our doors we are able to keep them open.

Whilst we understand some of the reopening mandates might not be what everyone wants to hear, we are just glad to be able to open again and will do what we need to do to keep our staff, members and business safe during this pandemic.

Please note, we have a ZERO tolerance policy and any negative behaviour towards staff or fellow members will NOT be tolerated.

LET’S OPEN!

We are excited to announce that on Friday October 29th Berry Fitness 24|7 will reopen our doors at 6pm as a full 24|7 facility to DOUBLE vaccinated staff, members, visitors and those with DHHS Exemptions only.

WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU?

All current members will STAY SUSPENDED and memberships will only be reactivated once we receive an EMAIL ONLY copy of your proof of double vaccinations OR DHHS approved exemption.

Please note this must be done VIA EMAIL ONLY, Prior to attending the centre.

What is proof? 

Proof can be: a copy of your Certificate, screen shot of your Digital Certificate or your immunization statement from Medicare or Services Australia  .

All member access passes will remain locked until your vaccination proof has been received.  Members who DO NOT provide proof of double vaccination will continue on suspension from this lock-down BUT will only continue until when and if the vaccination mandate is removed.

For best practice purposes, we will remind any remaining suspended members in the future when their membership is due to reactivate automatically.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?

After receiving this email, you are able to send through your vaccination certificate to have your Access Pass reactivated and ready for use from 6pm Friday the 29th of October.

Once your email including your certificate or exemption has been received, we will organise your membership to reactivate from the nearest possible date depending when we receive your email. Therefore the sooner we receive your email, the sooner you can get back to the Centre.

PLEASE WAIT UNTIL YOU RECEIVE an SMS from us that will notify you when your pass will be active and ready to use again. Do not attempt to enter the gym prior to receiving this SMS as your access pass will not allow you entry.

YOUR NEXT STEP!

In order to have all eligible members and PT clients ready for entry upon reopening, we would appreciate you sending through your emails as soon as possible to  [email protected]

Please do not wait until the day before you want to re-visit us in case your access pass is not ready in time.

PRIVACY.

Please also note, we will not be keeping your certificates or proof on your record at the Centre. We will just need to sight them in your email in order to reactivate you.

TRESPASSING!

Any attempts to enter our Centre without following the above policy, WILL activate our trespassing policy and fines will be enforced.

HOUSEKEEPING.

When we reopen Members and PT clients must continue to:

  • Please update any changes in contact details including email & phone number
  • Have previously sent through proof of vaccination status prior to first visit
  • Scan your access pass to enter, every visit.
  • Scan the QR code located at the front door and or around the Centre.
  • Maintain your social distance from other members and staff where possible.
  • Sanitise/wash your hands frequently.
  • Use your towel on our equipment
  • Wipe down the equipment after use
  • Please stay home if you have even the mildest cold or flu symptoms
  • BE NICE, BE RESPECTFUL, TRAIN HARD

 

COMMUNICATION DURING LOCK DOWN:

Please note if you had requested to cancel your membership prior to Aug 5th and you have any remaining ’30 days notice’ payments they will automatically reactivate to complete your balance to settle from OCT 29TH. If you would like to know your new final debit date please send us an email.

If you requested to cancel during lock down we informed you your request will be processed after lock down ends. We will now process your request on OCT 29TH and you will be sent a confirmation SMS notifying you of your final balance to settle payment date.

FURTHER INFORMATION:

Classes will resume again from Monday 8th of November and run through until 18/12/2021

*please recheck our timetable prior to attending a class as we have made a few temporary tweaks

We will continue to be ‘by prior appointment only‘ for any visitors or members that wish to see a staff member eg: assessment and programs, 7 day trials and joins.

MANAGERS NOTE.

Brad and the entire Berry team look forward to the day we can welcome everyone and anyone back into our Berry home. In the meantime, please be patient and understanding with us as this is not our mandate & we are doing what we can to continue to offer our amazing services long term.

We are ecstatic to be able to see your smiling faces at the Centre if & when you’re ready.

Also, just in-case you have relaxed a little too much during lock down, ease back into your training and reach out to our staff if you need some assistance.

As you all know, the train line is still being completed so if you can walk, run or ride to the gym please do so
